Thomaz Alexandre Mayer Napoleão, 28 years old, is a diplomat at the Brazilian Foreign Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. Born and raised in São Paulo, has thereafter lived and studied in Paris, Moscow and Buenos
Aires. Currently lives in Brasília.
Holds a MA in International Affairs and International Security from the Paris Institute of Political
Studies (Sciences Po), a BA in International Relations from the Pontificial Catholic University of São
Paulo (PUC-SP) and a BA in Journalism from the University of São Paulo (USP).
Believes in reason, tolerance, justice and individual responsibility.
Adores the scent of old books and the thrill of love. Sees no difference between friends and family. His current (overly ambitious) projects include learning to play the sax and to speak Mandarin.
